Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh and Sangam Pant (Pantogran) Acquire CARD

Calex Partners served as the exclusive financial advisor to Pantogran

Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD®) today announced that Pantogran, Proud Moments ABA, and New Story have been named the winning bidders to acquire substantially all of CARD’s assets following a comprehensive sale process and a competitive auction. Pantogran is led by CARD founder and former CEO Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh. Proud Moments ABA is a national provider of ABA services, and New Story is a leading provider of special and alternative education and pediatric mental health services.

Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh resumes control of CARD, marking her extraordinary return to the helm of the company she founded in 1990 and sold to Blackstone in 2018. By the time she stepped down from CARD, the company she built had opened 260 clinics and helped tens of thousands of people with autism. Acknowledging the smaller footprint of CARD today, Dr. Granpeesheh said, “As long as we put families and clinicians first, I have no doubt that we will ultimately create access to ABA for everyone who needs it and that we will enjoy the journey along the way.”

Calex Partners served as the exclusive financial advisor to Pantogran. Calex Managing Director Jon Krieger and his team served as the exclusive financial advisor to CARD in its sale to Blackstone in 2018.
